Mignon is an artist originally from Kansas City, Missouri. She came to Atlanta for her formal training and received her BFA from Atlanta College of Art in 1991. She entered the creative field, professionally, in 1992 as Art Director for New Leaf Distributing, a worldwide wholesale book distributor. In 1996, she joined Automobile Protection Corporation – APCO, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company since 1999, where she is currently Art Director. At APCO, Mignon is responsible for developing marketing materials to promote vehicle service contracts for brands such as Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Mazda. She has also had a freelance design business, GOODESIGN, Inc., since 1991. Some of GOODESIGN’s clients include Spelman College, Emory University, and Morehouse College. She is married to James and they have a son, Cole.
