Larry Dorfman founded APCO in 1984, took the company Public on NASDAQ in 1988 and in 1999 sold the company to Ford Motor Company. He still remains under contract with Ford Motor Company and APCO as APCO's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Mr. Dorfman met Val Joseph and was introduced to Inner Strength in 1999 while he was in the process of establishing a youth development program for athletes. The two became great friends driven toward a common goal: The overall development of youth who are challenged by today's social and academic environment.

His long term goals are for Inner Strength to become the standard of excellenct for programs that support youth development across the country.
